WD Baldwin - slow goods train

Hi folks
Here is a little video showing Roy wood's Accucraft WD Baldwin, now fitted with R/C on the regulator, hauling a rake of Binnie granite wagons. I have included some footage at the end at half speed, which suits this loco I think.
The exhaust beat seems a bit strange - but is clearer at half speed.....
You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSdUAY_shuw Cheers Chris

Lovely stuff Chris , I like the Baldwin, but the fact the real ones had such a poor reputation puts me off. Daft I Know!

That's terrific Chris

I actually thought the slow-down version sounded more realistic - errrr - am I allowed to say that? I also took a peep at the slowed-down 7/8 Mamod video which looked and sounded really impressive given its origins.

Oh dear! Am I imperceptibly being drawn to live steam ......................??

Lovely video Chris

Thanks for the kind words guys - I have to say that I enjoyed making it and could become a bit of a slow-motion addict! This Baldwin did take a lot of running in, but it has been transformed by the R/C as it was a bit tempremental on any sort of gradient before.

Rik - I think you might be being "perceptibly" being drawn to steam- and you know it makes sense:D
Cheers
Chris
