anyone know of a supplier who stocks wheels which have the rubber tyre's, size required is 30cm. will be going to Welshpool at weekend and hope to get some their although any information would be grateful.

I assume you want drive wheels with a gear - we will need to know what loco its is from to help out.
 
30cm is a bit large for G scale! I take it you mean 30mm diameter?

What style - spoked or disc? Number of spokes? With or without representations of balanceweights and/or coupling rod holes? To fit what diameter axle?
The more info you can give the easier it is for folk to suggest possible sources.
 
Try GRS (Garden Railway Specialists) - they keep a good selection of LGB spares but also several other makes of wheels and associated parts....

Methinks it's only the manufacturers that use tyres. Therefore it's quite likely that your wheels, axles and gears will need to come from the same manufacturer and possibly bearings due to all the varieties of axle diameter. It has caused me frustration enough over the years, unless you can do your own machining (I'm a devout bodger).

GRS stock Slaters wheels (ncluding some specials, and Slaters also do Gauge 1 wheeslsets.
