Has any one any experience of building one of these ? or know of anyone who has? or even seen one at close quarters. I am sorely tempted to get one as I like its steep angular roof would also fit in with my attempts to expand into U.S modeling too, I like the original, & I am disatisfied with the current concrete job.

Have built a few of their building kits but not this one. Parts need a fair bit of work to fit, poor instructions and I feel not great value for money. If you are ok doing a fair bit of work getting stuff to fit your be fine.

Thanks , that is useful to know, do their kits appear flimsy?

Thats an excellent job you've made of Chelfham station, thanks for sharing.

The resin is quite thick and as mentioned cast resin does always need a bit of work. Also realized I may have sounded a bit grumpy! Not ment, but am currently struggling with a gauge 3 kit from said place.

Having built a couple of their kits, I empathise. Clear instructions are not their strong point

Well, I have instructed Santa (also know as Mrs M) the deliver this on 25/12/2011, having previously instructed him/her to obtain the said railway station. Something to look forward to on the cold winter evening. I will also be able to bore people by saying " It was 31 degrees when this was bought.

Must agree with Simon here re: instructions. I bought their Black Boy Inn kit last year (still not built), two sheets of photocopied handwritten instructions for such a substantial kit ain't good enough IMHO.

I have one of these. A simple straightforward build. It has been out in my garden all year round (high heat and heavy frosts) for the last two years with no visible signs of deterioration. A nice sizable item that looks the part when built and painted. However, like most lineside buildings it is somewhat undersized when a regular 1:19th/16mm scale loco and rake are posed alongside.

I would go with the above comments regards instructions. Pay particular attention to the roof tile cutting plan, if not adheared to your tiles will not match up around the joins (guess what I did trying to save on material).

Excuse my Magnolia tree shedding its blossoms all over the station.
