This loco was kept for spares for ages but as I donot have any of these particular loco’s I see no point in it hanging around looking sorry for itself.
There is no doubt the loco needs a lot of TLC or could be good for a project etc. I took the loco apart as the lights never have worked…..and found….no circuit board of any description and a mess of wires. Despite all the above and the state of the body the loco is a runner….so there is a silver lining some what. As you can see in the pictures the right hand side front valve cover is missing and will need addressing to stop the valve gear flopping around. The smoke stack is just a standard one….not a smoke unit. Asking £50 which includes postage via Parcelforce in the UK ( insured and tracked).
Sorting a lot of spares or repair stuff out in the next few days, so watch this space.
