Yeo at Coombe Hill

Hi all
A few folk here may well be familiar with Raif Copley's superb Coombe Hill
Railway in Somerset, but I made my first visit last Friday when Raif kindly lent
me his rake of L&B coaches to haul. He built these from GRS kits in the days
before his involvement with Triassic and now Jurassic Models. I know the
Roundhouse Manning Wardle would have had a different cab by the time the coaches
appeard in this livery, but it is still a fine sight I think! Sadly I didn't get
more of Raif's beautifully re-liveried Lyn - and also I must have pressed the
wrong button when his electric Countess, with Brandbright sound card hauled Yeo
home after she ran out of gas on the closing shot ;-(

Anyway - you can see what I got here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jE3RKsm3B4

And on my website news page as usual.
Cheers
Chris

Lovely, Chris and don't you just hate buttons?
Thanks Rob - and I do hate the record button on my Fuji HS10. It has to be pressed for a couple of seconds to start recording and then takes a couple of seconds to start .....by which time the loco has gone! In this case though, I have no idea what I did as I know I pressed something before the smooth pan down the station .....

I would have loved to have shown that the highly sophisticated sound card sounded just like.......a Chuffer :D
Cheers

Great stuff Chris, I particularly like the coaches. The whole railway captures the spirt of the L&B, thanks for showing it to us.
