The Mh class is (was?) sold by Regner. But not the Yugoslav 83 class, they are a bit differnt.

I love my H0e Roco Mh6!

Thanks folks,

It looks like a scratch build is the only way to go, will have to find that 080 chassis that could be fun to start with.

Thanks for the Photo's they are nice shots.

Isn't that more- or- less the one Regner did fairly recently, as Garrett said? I know it had a few issues but- depending on skills- surely it's a better start than a total scratchbuild? Money dependant, of course!

Ooooooooooops. Looks like I wasn't really paying attention there. The LGB Rugens has a single slidebar and crosshead, whereas the JZ Class 83 has double slidebars :(

So even finding a ready to run chassis won't be that simple :( :(

I think the Regner one is too expensive for me, but I also think that it's possible to make a new crosshead and slide bar for the LGB 080.

Thanks for your idea's it's a great help.

Bruce.

Howzbout the Aristocraft C-16 block as a starter? Gotta make up the rods tho. Tim Brien did a bash over on GSM with one.

The C16 wheels may be too large diameter ?

I do not have the book in front of me, and don't feel like getting up and getting it, but there is a good kitbash of one of these (either an Mh6 or the JZ83) in the Helmut Grosshans book published by LGB about 20 years ago.

Food for thought......

Thanks, never noticed ZB#4 before. There are some really interesting pre WWI Austrian steam locomotives if one digs.

Case in point, the kkStB 112....only two of which were made.
