Attention please!
The Whizzycranks has landed. I say again: the Whizzycranks has landed!

Full condition report on its way to you via PM Ian, but suffice to say that it's been tested and it works on both analogue & digital.
The suppliers included a load of freebie catalogues and a few LGB promo items, but no Haribo sweets as German suppliers tend to. Disgraceful!
Next: get the body off and start tearing out what looks like a spaghetti farm of DCC wiring inside. At Ian's request this is to be another battery conversion a la Cliff Barker......

Thanks Peter! I am pretty happy at that. I did not realise it was so old me being a non lgb expert, but that doesn't matter given it runs ok....

It's a transition model. New enough to have the later type of marker lights - old enough to have the black handrails and horns. Some had the split gearbox, some had the later type gearbox. Both okay but the split ones require more work if you need to take one to bits.

Piece of cake. First one done this evening. Pictures to follow.....

P.S. yes, it does work now I've reassembled it. O ye of little faith (but entirely sound reasoning!)

WOW!! I just won a 2095 red and cream version with sound from Ebay. $294.00. At the upper reaches of my budget, so a few things will have to go. I've been after one of these for quite some time now. Looking forward to receiving it.
