3D Printing Help

I'm pretty certain the Ender 3 S1 has auto bed levelling as standard? No need to fit a BL Touch.

You need to * flash * the software onto the machine, ..I can't rember how..YouTube will know

Success! Sort of. At least it printed.

My foolishness of course. My z offset was set to 3.32, not -3.32 as required.....

Now to fiddle withe the settings to get the horizontal surfaces to work.
Thanks for all the input guys, I have a lot to think about.

Those look like slicer errors. Check for number of top layers - should be 3. Also check retraction settings and maybe increase a little.

Good start though!

You need the original files on the card
Otherwise the printer will -can forget..you also need a small ,( thing it's 8mg ) card ,not a bigger micro sd card, as this too can bugger it up..
8GB micro SD Card

Cracking job ! It's now a adventure

My experience with Creality's slicer was to download the latest version and use that, it is based on Cura so personally I saw no advantage in changing.
Not being very experienced with 3D printing I stayed with what came with the printer although I did upgrade the firmware which gave me a lot more functionality.

After fitting the new springs, the firmware and slicer updates I went from this;

Any chance of getting the 3D solid file?

I'm assuming you are after the bogie files, I got them from here, I'm using the bolster without the hook tongue.

I also printed these but as I was using body mounted knuckle couplers I used the ones above.

These are the couplers I am using, they work very well and do not uncouple even when they go over a small raised section of track that needs levelling.

I found the bogies here, Yeggi is my favourite site for stl files
