A Building from a Box, or, us indoor guys can get away with M... U... R... D... E... R.... ???

While I was building the other models I usually have ideas that relate to things I have laying around On idea was taking a couple small boxes I had into cargo crates by wrapping them in popsicle sticks. I did a quick little bash and was pleased at the results:

As I got close to finishing the LSC Challenge I had a small cardboard box someone mailed something to me and that I kept but was only being used to hold flotsum, so I wondered If I could use it for a small building on the harbor layout...so...

Precision Plastics windows with glass blacked out:

Definately boxing clever there Vic - a great idea (especially for wooden crates).

I find the roof especially effective!

That's a super little building! ;)

Perfect !!

hi
how I wish I had a indoors railway but living in are tiny railway cottage not a chance . I am even testing locos on a ring of track on the sitting floor . but at least I can watch the real trains at the bottom of the garden if I get desperate believe me it starting to get that way .
yet another good idea from you it is time to get the coffee stirrers out again and start building.
