A weighty problem...

Trev, that's interesting stuff. It's amazing how much of our own history gets muted by time and by our elders not keeping us updated. Some older folks do tell stories about the family, which I always, and still do, like to listen to.
 
I'm hoping to keep family traditions alive by putting together a family history for the grandkids; I can remember as far back as my great-mother who was born in 1859 - before the American Civil War... So many relatives gone, so many unanswered questions...
