Tag, that looks simply great. Been looking forward to seeing this! I have a weakness for these WD loco's (possibly comes from my patch for Birdwatching being the reservoir that is over the Ashover Light Railway! Yes I know they were Baldwins... but that interest continued into other WD stuff!).
All the bits and stuff added just make the loco much "more of a thing". Elevates it to a new level as usual with one of your pieces of work!

Just a bit more to do Steph - doubt I will ever reach your standard of weathering however.....

Tag, you did a great job on the conversion. I am really looking forward to all of the details in GR.

Still things I need to change. I just couldn't suss why the plates looked wrong then I noticed that the loco name is serifed and the nameplate not. Bu99er! I need to get on to Guilplates for new numbers....

Not a half bad job there Tag ;)
Almost done. The weathering on the cylinders is temporary and will be coming off (just powder).

How comes the side tanks were not run all the way to the cabs?

Weight distribution.
Cracking job Tag.

If you go to your model shop you will find sheets of various sorts of embossed plastic for modelling buildings etc in the smaller scales or military modelling. I just picked up the stuff that looked like 1:19 scale boards. Cut to shape, spray in 'weathered wood' and slip into place with a smear of silicone – sticks like the proverbial to a blanket.

She's a super looking loco Tag, the smoke box door looks particularly realistic:thumbup::thumbup:

That loco is as pretty as a picture. A fine bit of kitbash modelling Tag, and it also works splendid too!
