Clencher's Bogleman

I took these pics a few weeks ago, but forgot to download them from the camera and post them till now!
I had spent an enjoyable evening with a box of assorted figures and a tube of silicone glue, adding a nice full load of passengers to the Dietz Railbus. The figures are a wide mix of Preiser/Pola, TL45, Bachmann (the UK Scenecraft ones) and a few others, including an LGB railbus driver and conductress. When it arrived, the bus had three figures on board including a driver, but those three were from a Preiser 1/25 truck driver and passenger set - I don't know whether they were put in by Dietz or by the previous owner of the model, but a guy in a trucker waistcoat and cap just didn't look right for a German railbus driver! So, he was gently removed and replaced by the much smarter and more officious-looking LGB chap in smart uniform and peaked cap.
The three figures in the front area immediately behind the driver (an elderly and a young woman, plus a baseball-hatted "yoof") had their legs sawn off, as that area of the floor is raised to accommodate the motor block, but all the other passengers were able to retain their dignity and all their limbs.
The more I played around with positioning the various figures before I started glueing any in, the more fun I was having devising little "scenarios" for each group of passengers - thus we have the business chap frantically searching for his ticket while the conductress waits (im)patiently; two "working blokes" minding their own business and not making eye contact; a young couple cuddling while the chap opposite them looks out of the window in mild embarrassment; the blond-haired guy trying to chat up the two girls on the other side of the bus, who really don't want anything to do with him; two other young women talking earnestly about the small child that one is holding up to look out of the window, and so on.... anyway, you get the idea - and suddenly it was a railbus full of people going somewhere and doing things, not just a bunch of plastic figures stuck in at random!
As some folks mentioned in the recent thread about why we do this hobby - creating our own little world is a big part of it.....
Anyway, here are the pics (in no particular order), before the roof was bolted back on!
