Any cheaper catenary?

Actually animals seem to be quite clever when it comes to outdoor electricity, even the low voltage present in the track constantly with digital systems ( when the power is switched on) is enough to make them jump!, My dog always makes sure she avoids actually treading on the track at all times, althought seh will go very close to it,
She did step on the track just once and that was enough!

Actually on a damp day us humans can get a very slight shock from energised rails, just try touching the rails with 2 fingers of 1 hand, when wet

Yes, of course. I imagine setting it up so you physically have to disconnect your low voltage equipment and then connecting the two wires to the fence unit. You will have to make sure no equipment is left on the layout, obviously.
