Any members from Norfolk England

Would you want 'all and sundry' to be able to see which road you live on????

I'm quite pleased not to have a marker on the map at all.

Cheers

David

PS I had to use Micosoft Edge to see any markers. They didn't appear at all when I was using Firefox.
I can understand where you are coming from, but a marker on the right town might be useful, not ten miles away.

Depending on how it is implemented, it might be by IP address (Internet /computer 'telephone number' for the uninitiated) which could show the location of your ISP..

If you go on most google map & click on the map a box will come up with longitude & latitude. Take these 2 numbers & put a comer in-between & most sat navs will recognise it & take within 2-3 feet of destination. Alternatively use The simplest way to talk about location Very accurate.

What three words, is very good..

First time I tried it, I was in the kitchen, next to the conservatory, charging a loco...

It came up with 'glass, train, hurray'.
How did it know?
:D:D

We use W3W a lot at work, really useful for locating pumping stations in The Fens. It will get you right to the spot, the only trouble is, it takes the direct route, so you may end up on the wrong side of a river

There was no need of a full explanation, you could have given us the abridged version.

My 16mm mag dropped on the door mat this morning and low and behold in the Bulletin a map showing all the sundry groups that are in the Society. There are 2 in Norfolk and it should be remembered that 45gauge track is not so frowned upon by the 16mm’ers than it used to be a few decades back.

can any one tell me the true scale loco's I am running , I want to get 2 drivers , is the scale 1:22
1:22.5 but you'll be close enough....

thank you
You may also find some figures listed for G scale as well as 16mm scale, go for G.@Casey posted this some time back.

My address does indeed show the I.S.P. which is on the far side of town. Strangely Luxembourg doesn't have a marker, could this be A) Luxembourg is too small and a marker would cover it or B) something knows I do not have G scale anymore :mask:

I was hoping to get a invite to see a members lay out and get more information about this hobby

Possibly, need the weather to improve a little?
People can have a tidy-up, and bring their railways out of hibernation..
