Allan - that is interesting about the boiler tube thickness.
Cheers

Obviously I meant the boiler shell Chris.

Indeed Allan - the boiler shell. I knew what you meant but my mind immediately went to the fact that they had used thicker gauge tube to make the boiler and so wrote "tube". The boiler tube is, of course , where the burner goes.........
I must get out more.......:D
Cheers

No,they just seem even better made than the older ones and they are excellent.

I am interested in the two photos of the Ragleth by Alan.
I noticed that the gas knob had been removed and a lever installed in its place. I have difficultly with the gas knob on the Ragleth when turning the gas down and the lever looks a better bet to me. Is it easier to control the flow of gas with the lever?
How do you do the conversion and where do you get the part from?
Grateful if you could let me know.

Kind regards,

Dave

Hi folks
Many of you will already know that Simon Whenmouth has bought out Alan Whitaker's PPS Steam Models. Alan is planning to keep on producing his Janet and De Winton locos but will no longer be a mainsteam dealer.
Simon is working on a new website at www.anythingnarrowgauge.co.uk which is currently just a front page with some nice photos. I have just updated his stock list, including some clearance offers, on my website, but Simon has told me that it is all packed and ready for the Peterborough 16mm Show, so none of it will be available until Saturday the 31st March
Simon also sent me a nice photo (below) of his re-liveried Accucraft baldwins which he will have at the show.
The list is here: http://www.summerlands-chuffer.co.uk/#/anythingnarrowgauge/4557829001 < Link To http://www.summerlands-ch...narrowgauge/4557829001
Cheers
Chris
