Aristo SD-45 Minimum Radius

The big problem with these locos is often the overhang. They will go through a tighter radius but will through the coupled wagon off the track. I am pretty sure the 8 foot is diameter rather than radius.
I have 12 foot diameter curves for my dumbbell and would say keep to that as a minimum if you can.
You can run nice trains with this diameter http://youtu.be/NXQUDVPQJGY

They will go around a R2 curve, 2' 6" radius. The couplings finish outside of the rails & the overhang is a bit silly but they will go. We ran one around my track & it went home with a scratched fuel talk where it hit the fence.
