George V said, 'Bu***r Bognor!'

In his defence, it is said that Queen Mary used to take him there for his health and that, like a recalcitrant child, he associated Bognor with the times when he was not feeling well, hence the outburst.

The bogie must fit so that the banana shaped slot is curving backwards, as in being streamlined - I can't see it working any other way.

ahhhhhh further developments afoot,,,,

spoke to steve at b2b6 who also has rgs 22 and we compared them over the phone, distance/spacing etc

and it looks like my bogie is modified so its going back to steve who is going to sort it all out

looks like the banana slot has been moved fwd a few mm and it needs returning to standard,,,

maby the previous owner wanted to negate tighter turns,,, and it does look filed in places,,

thanks for all your help on this,, steve, rhino c , n h neil

We think so - as we are into bikes and trains, it's pretty much nirvana! It 'can' rain though.....but it's warm compared to geordieland, from whence I came!

gratuitous photo - James driving GHW weekend before last....he's into G scale too......

I never hear anything but good reports about Steve - I presume i have met him as a customer, as I have bought from his stand at shows, but I dont know what he lookslike!

steves great,,,you cant miss him,,, he is about 7ft tall, totally bald ,,as he likes to attend kojak conventions on his weekends off,,,,, walks with a limp, and is a keen limbo dancer,,

i bought the loco from steve and he is going to sort the problem out,,,he also has no22 which we used for comparison over the phone,,,

trouble is theres little info about these models out there

never been to the isle of man,,, i have been told its a mythical place where the sun always shines,,, trains go whoo whooo,,,
and you can eat your body weight in fish every day,,,

cough,,,,,

Looking at that picture I'd say James has actually squeezed himslef into a 1:1 loco, not a G Scale one :rolf::rolf:

He's a good sort, Chuggy. Steam in his veins.....full sized and G scale!!

I don't think it must have been B2B6 Steve I saw on his stand - don't recall a bald tall person.

Dave, it helps if you like kippers.....but don't bank on the sun shining all the time!!!!!:rolf: The trains do go toot, or a softer toot on the MER.....air whistles.
