Blue Ragleth

So, the question now is: "Will Ragleth go down in History as The definitive entry level live steam garden railway loco?"

Comparing it to other previous entry level offerings from any manufacturer is there anything you would rather have?

Could you think of a better entry level loco at this price?

Is this as good as gets ?

Is evolution of the species complete?

Happy steamings,

John

Afternoon,
Edrig was a favourite starter engine even amongst the most enthusiastic steamers, however,Edrig was a Marmite engine, you either hated it or loved it.Most people would have liked a cab on it because it always looked too big as a cab less engine. It had a proper reverser, pressure gauge, half ins cylinders etc and was good for further upgrading as funds allowed.Ragleth is pure Edig but with a cab and extended tanks. It's much better value than anything else I can think of.At £489 inc postage,it's nearest rival is £558.The biggest decision is what colour......I picked blue.
