Thinking of doing the ' mesh mod' on my accucraft leader burner. Just wondering where I can get the mesh from? Local halfords do some ally stuff but don't think this is of any use?

Tesco do stainless steel flour sieves etc have a look if you have a store local to you . There is more than enough for your burner.hornbeam said:Hi all

So you've now got enough mesh to do another dozen at least?hornbeam said:well.... the best £2.49 I've spent! I got a stainess splash guard from Tesco- looks like a mesh ping png bat! finer mesh than a sieve.
I've just steam tested it and the difference is fantastic. No longer does the water ejected when cold put the burner out. I'm able to keep the gas really low and it stays alight. Its also more quiet mostly because I can keep the gas down.
I also added added grease to the O ring on the gas valve.
I did have to take all the body off ( more on that later) but worth it.
As I've said shame Accucraft cant make burners that work in the first place.
