I think that the way that he does his castings helps too. Certain other concrete buildings always look as if they have "sagged" during (or just after?) the moulding process and are often not square as a result, niether are their edges/corners crisp. The MR has some Cain Howley items - tunnel & cottage.
Originally delivered by himself in person.
He told me his wife is into wood carvings etc., and I think this may be the origin of his crisply detailed masters.

I mentioned this to Cain at last years Llanfair show ................................ turns out the size of the legs was a complete coincidence.
