Well done Korm, but I don't understand this concept of your loco roster being complete. Surely, there is always room for just one more.....

so i promised myself, no more purchases, before the layout is up and running.

I keep Hearing those voices, they keep saying buy another stainz lol

Korm,
that loco is one of LGB's most beautiful creations as the anniversary model. A long time ago I purchased the set new with the two silver #3020 coaches. Before you stop purchasing any more items the coaches are a definite must to have.

The only part that I did not like was the cheap cardboard anniversary plaque on the smokebox door.

they were up as well (two) and i was very tempted.
but as i am modelling wild west in 1:29, it is still ok(for me) to use oversized locos - but oversized coaches simply look out of place. (i notice every time, i use my coaches from the blue train with the 1:29 people)
at least i am planning to keep the americanized stainzes intact and change the cabins and some details on the european stainzes.

sparky,
i hear these voices too, frequently, but my wife does not beleive in messages from other dimensions...

my partner shares the voices, half the stainzs are hers

Guess I shouldn't admit that my purchases of Stainz usually head to the cutters' "torches" to make parts for kitbashes?

I bet you'd shudder to see what I did to my circa 1985 #2 from the starter set. A red xmas unit and a green tender are all in the dead line waiting on more acetylene to arrive from the dealer?

Well, once I get some clothes on her naked boiler, we'll talk. But I need to get the tender and all the Americanizations complete.
