Garden Railways, Model making
hi
a little while ago I was given a very sad looking church I think it was piko the American chapel with the square front ,but I instantly saw potential ,I had already done some research into corrugated buildings such as churches ,community halls and schools and surprisingly there is still quiet a few knocking about in Scotland and Wales ,and there is a church in Ironbridge blisthill museum . some time ago I got 2 large sheets of corrugated plastic from back 2 bay 6 which I have used to cover it and at the bottom it sits on a brick plinth made with plastic card .because there was not a lot of brick I was able to cut each brick individually and glue them in place .even if it does not suit my railway it was a good project to do and it got those little grey cells working again .

There is a 'Tin Tabernacle' next to my local station, which was originally built for local Railway Workers.

It was refurbished a couple of years ago by the Seventh Day Adventists, and is used by a few of the nearby American forces personnel and their families.

Nice work by the way....

Very nice work looks fantastic :)

That looks really smart

My parents used to attend a 'tin church' in their local village, but I got drafted in to assist with helping them with a new building after someone got an electric shock of the cladding :rolf::rolf::rolf:

Hi Graham, nice to see what you made of the church.
If I only had half your imagination and skill I would be happy.
