Sadly, no. It was actually Z gauge and it was sold to finance my new G scale passion! :bigsmile:

You DO realise that youve now got to make another 25 so you can pair them up, a rake of blue and grey mk1's, and a G scale model of Tallerddig for them to splutter to a stand on :thumbup:

While TTI at NNR the other Saturday i had the delights of our 25 hauling my train, popular with deisel ethusiastes as lots of thrashing up kelling bank :bigsmile:

I have been following this build with silent admiration but then to look at the near finished loco on a post dated 19/6/10 then look at the date of your first post dated 1/6/10. seriously john either your fooling us all and this is a bought kit youve stuck together or your some kind of super hero
May i sugest you start selling pre cut pastcard kits and instructions

It just keeps getting betterer and betterer.............................Looking at those pictures from George you need'nt have worried about getting all the little scratches and dings out before you painted it!

Someone said you should build a second one, would that be the welded up door version? They would compliment each other. Honest. Wheedle wheedle :bigsmile:
 
They don't allow expletives on this site, but I think I could come up with some suitable ones about this!!

An amazing scratchbuilding job and an encouragement to others to try something similar.
Have scratchbuilt locos in "N" and "OO" before now, but "G" is "one step beyond" at the moment.

If I had the time (and a spare chassis) a GE Shovelnose is one that I'd like to do.....................
 
Looks brilliant even though in bue can here chugging around memories!! Well I suppose we should run a topic on who has built British outline diesel locos or even repaints nice model.:thumbup:
