Excavator needed for Thomas and friends next adventure.

Get one of the Huyina's from Howes, I posted. They say they are 1:14, they atr more like 1:20. Max

Edit, quick vid. Loco is 1:19 Upnor Castle (about TTE size). Person, Jon's 1:19. Huina crane, same basic unit/crawler/superstructure available as digger or log grabber, just different accessory fitted. You can turn the noise off. Battery/charger included. Plastic construction. Moves back/forward, turns, cab rotates on chassis, raises/articulates digger arm at 2 points and digger bucket. Great value and looks the business. Yes, you can get these Huina models with die cast parts but the price goes up a lot. Hope this helps

The Huina certainly appear to be worth a look, 1 digger that may work is on a sale price of £34.99 down from £37.99. Ok not a lot off but may pay for postage.

I was looking for an excavator, but I may have to get one of these too! :)

I now have an excavator. Third time lucky!
After the first one was returned to the Brazilian Rainforest, I ordered a HNR 11 Channel 1:16 model.
When it arrived it looked more like 1:24 scale - great, but the cab would not rotate left or right. So it too was sent back to northwestern Brazil.
I couldn't find anything else that fitted the bill so I reordered it and it arrived today, fully functioning.
I think it will do.
