No, I was referring to Phil's musings on using a car and a gravel road to produce a stone finish. I've used a paintbrush to stipple the surface of tile adhesive in the past, to obtain a roughcast/rendered surface -it worked well, until the render fell off!

So pretty prototypical then!

Best bet is to try and show us the pictures, oh be careful not to run over SWMBO in your enthusiasm like one of my former bosses did!

Other than the odd bit of wildlife (early morning, delivering papers), the only thing I have run over is myself! :mad::rolleyes:

Years after the event, my metalwork teacher spoke proudly of the time he swapped Swarfega and lime marmalade in his student house, after one of his house mates helped himself to the latter...
