Fowler diesel converted to battery power

For the last couple of years the first loco which I scratchbuilt (on an LGB ToyTrain motor block) has been languishing on the shelf, waiting to be converted from track power to battery radio control. Today, she re-entered service.

She is powered by three 18650 li-ion batteries (plus protection board) and controlled by a Deltang Rx65a receiver/controller.
At present she has no sound card but will eventually be fitted with something noisy (not yet decided what).

Try one of Gregh's picaxe diesel sound cards with inertia, worked for me a treat with my MDC Hustler.

I thought I might give it a try - I've got the bits to make one - all I need now is the time ....
