Growth over/through track...

Yes pauly those are great shots, an old wagon disapearing in greenery- and just the rail heads showing- do trains run ok through there- are you track power?

yeah my trains all run fine through it, my locos are all live steam or battery so I dont have to worry about dirty track.

Gavin,
Gizzy thanks for re-igniting this thread. I had forgotten about my little addition to this at Post 36, was a nice reminder of a past line that I pulled up. Sadly my new line has not reached any level of dereliction like this yet. But in time the Rockeries will.

If you have overgroan track you need one of these;

'Overgroan'?
Would definitely stop the weeds squealing!
;) :D :D
Was that a spoonerism or a typo? It may even have been intentional...

Not a problem with an indoor layout, but I do make sure that substitute artificial planting leads to a slightly overgrown look. Beware of "bits" becoming caught in locomotive driving wheels ..... :-\

I don't mind the moss and small flowering weeds that grow between the rails. What I have to keep in check is the Perywinkle whose vines grow like they're on Viagra, across the rails.
