Ya that is what mine looks like. And thanks for the help .....where is the wick? I think having the plastic tube crumpled up could have something to do with it?

The wick is in the burner. The black rectangular box, the top should pop off. Wick resides in the heating element and should hang down into the sump in the bottom of the black box.Ya that is what mine looks like. And thanks for the help .....where is the wick? Good luck! Let me know how it goes.Ok thanks....train is in the storage tunnel....will check it out tomorrow.
Only way to know is see if there is voltage to the smoke unit. And you wick should be tucked down into the low point cavity in the smoke unit.Mine looks simular but not exact. It could be that with me converting to different batteries I accidently clipped a wrong wire. I did all this clipping in the engine.
And? Smoker working again? Side note found one heck of a deal yesterday on used 24" LGB track $4.00 each, was able to acquire 11 pieces, train swap meets rock...lol. As soon as my 10' radius track arrives I can begin prepping the outdoor space!Ya I will use my voltage meter later ....looks good though.
Yes it was a local deal, local train shop had a swap meet. I will get some pics of the area I'm planning for the layout. And the humour as been just fine! Was it a local deal? Ya send a picture of where you want to set it up will ya? And what do you think of this British humour so far?
Understood, let me know how the smoker goes, keep the GF happy at all costs...Have not gotten to the smoker yet. Today is hang out with my nice gf day. then doggie walk.
LOL no worries, I was on a submarine for 6 years, humor I can handle..
I assume you actually mean in submarines for 6 years, ON a submarine for more than a few minutes may be problematicLOL no worries, I was on a submarine for 6 years, humor I can handle..
My favourite piece of military jargon has always been 'Beds will be made up, as laid down, in standing orders.'I was Army for 33 years, so I also speak 'military humour'.
Nothing for the railroad yet... looking at making a 12 pack of flat cars, and a bridge for starters. Glad to hear there are a bunch of prior service peeps in here! Thank for your service! My son was 1st Cav in Afgaistan. Back to original topic I have printed a full size wearable stormtrooper helmet on my printer, so yeah I can print rather large files.Long voyage,eh? Quite a few ex-service personnel here, it seems. I was Army for 33 years, so I also speak 'military humour'.
Let's see what you made on the printer!!
Lol indeed but you say served on a... whatever... not in...I assume you actually mean in submarines for 6 years, ON a submarine for more than a few minutes may be problematic
So please ignore the house, getting pressure washed soon. The layout will go from porch to edge of house, out and around the flag pole... etc etc. Going to scrape all the grass out, weed barrier, stone base... then start laying initial oval. Was it a local deal? Ya send a picture of where you want to set it up will ya? And what do you think of this British humour so far?
