Hello from Norfolk UK

Welcome aboard, Jim. I really like your "Eggliner" open passenger cars. They pair perfectly with the Eggliner loco.
Many thanks, I am really proud of those. I liked the style of the LGB grizzly flats cars but didn't think they would look right with the egg shape. In the end I gathered inspiration from traction engine roofs and fairground rides.

Yeah the MNR is just around the corner, I often get videos from my partner when she goes food shopping as the store is next to the line. We are pretty lucky, I think we have 6 steam lines within an hour. We are off to the Bure Valley Railway on Monday
We will be at the NNR next weekend for the 40s event.

We stay at Incleboro Fields caravan site....

I'm still around lurking again, checking a few posts every now and again. The forever house process started a month after my first post and has been a nightmare! Nearly all my garden railway stuff went into storage in November 2023 to make our house presentable. At the time it looked like the move would be a quick one with a seller in need to get some cash quickly. 10 months later and lots of issues along the way we moved 2 weeks ago the huge distance of 4 doors down the road!

I've managed to squeeze in a few little projects this year to keep me sane and in my normal style most are part finished! I've mainly been reading and getting my head around layout design and how traffic flowed on a couple of Welsh railways. I need to treat myself to looking through my "collection" in the next few days and I'll post some pics of some interesting bits I've made but probably not finished.

What's the point in having a project if you finish it ? :nerd::nerd:

Yep, I forgot to tell him that we're back in business, up and running, not far from the Windmill ;)
Let me know when, so I can invoke running rights from Cambridge with the TEE train....
