hello, this is GnomeraiL in Hertfordshire.

I think Mr Trekk is being mightily silly, I know, I'm an expert. :nerd:
If you have time a-plenty and are nimble figered then try reading and emulating the hard work of Mike Duffy in his Lazy Grange Bay 3 thread. Difficult but the results are exquisite.
Or, like everyone else, cheat and buy ready made jobs. Piko and Pola both offer sets from their buildings range that would suit you, windows, doors, drainpipes etc. I would go for the Pola myself, more to scale and sturdier.
I had a large pond with koi. Definitely cool.

Is that pond big enough for your ship then?:rofl:

I've spent all day yesterday getting the garden ready, so much soil to shift even though I am laying a raised track. I am making some buildings, where is best for windows, doors and roof tiles.
Glendale Junction (Market Deeping near Peternpborough) have a nice line in Plastic Model Railway Windows for our scale. You could also try Dolls House Sops/Suppliers think that there is still one in Hemel Hempstead Old Town if you live in that area. Generally 1:24 for our Scale, though 1:12 Small ones may work OK.

I've been planning my garden railway for ever and finally have time space and money to begin. All very new to me so I will be asking for lots of advice.
Welcome to our world
