I need help with binding my DT , Tx22 Transmitter

General procedure:
Both Tx and Rx switched off.
Select the Selecta position you want to bind the receiver to.
Switch on receiver, wait for rapud-flash of LED. - If you don't get a rapud-flash, the receiver is set for manual Bind.
Hold the Bind button, then turn the Tx on. Once you have a slow flash from the Tx, and slow /intermittent flash on receiver, release the Bind button.
Wait.......

You should get a solid on LED on both the Tx and Rx. - Receiver now bound to transmitter.

PhilP

Thanks PhilP, I hoped to get you, I will try again, I keep my locos outside in a plastic garden tool holder . I wes thinking that the cold wether have effect the wiring

Probably not the best place for over-wintering your loco's..

Damp, can affect the electronics. - Especially if powered up before really dried-out, and freezing weather will not do the batteries any favours.

I am a little surprised your receivers have not kept their Bind information, but it can happen.

PhilP

Turn on the RX, flash slow then rapud-flash, I swich no TX and hold down bind, flashing together , then RX slow flast I release bind, Wait, NO solid light , turn of TX and RX, swich on TX then RX it do all over a gain

I go along with Phillip, all loco locomotives on my line are storedin the house. Rolling stock ok in a shed or the garden tool holder so long as they are not made of cardboard like 1 of my wagons is.

Please!
Do not store the transmitter outside.. With, or without, the battery..

Turn on the RX, flash slow then rapud-flash, I swich no TX and hold down bind, flashing together , then RX slow flast I release bind, Wait, NO solid light , turn of TX and RX, swich on TX then RX it do all over a gain
Rx on, wait for rapid-flash.
HOLD BIND BUTTON (keep it pressed) then switch Tx on..

PhilP

It just will not bind, have power to loco and TX but as it not bind nothing work . No power to wheels, no sound and no smoke

Can only suggest you try a new battery in your transmitter..

Can you remind me what the receiver is please?

PhilP

it is a Deltang DSM2 R/C Rx65-2 what is the best way to see if the wire is good as I try all you say and getting nowear

Try a little further away from the loco..

Sometimes the transmitter will swamp the receiver if you are within a couple of feet..

PhilP

OK , I try one more time and if not I will rewire the lot
Why?
Do you think it is incorrectly wired?

As the receiver is behaving as it should, I do not think it is a wiring fault.
Do you have any other receivers, and are they working with your transmitter?

Can you post a picture or two of your wiring?

PhilP

I will try tomorrow , I build and fly RC helicoptors and not as much trubble as the g scale trains

Isn't the binding process the same on all RC equipment? Make sure there's nothing about that can interfere with the signal as you bind, a friend has a loco that is notorious for unbinding, no-one knows why, and it never binds straight away again. His method is to leave it for 10 minutes or so after the 1st reattempt.

I back again, check all wires with multimeter and all good , CAN NOT bind the Tx22 transmitter to Rx65-2 control, have tryed lots of tims and all what you have told me

Then one or the other is not working properly..

You can (if you wish) remove the Rx, and send both Tx and Rx to me to have a look at?
Or,
We can try and diagnose the problem remotely?

To that end:

What type of 9V battery do you have in your transmitter? - Don't use a rechargeable.
How old is it?
If you have changed it, have you calibrated the transmitter?

What type/voltage/number of cells in the loco?
Is the Rx a 65b or a 65c?
Do you have anything else besides battery and motor wired to the receiver?

PhilP

now use a non rechargeable battery in TX still the same,
can use a 7.2 v 6 cell or a 8.4 v 7 cell.
RX is Deltang DSM2 R/C Rx65-2
