I need help with binding my DT , Tx22 Transmitter

now use a non rechargeable battery in TX still the same,
can use a 7.2 v 6 cell or a 8.4 v 7 cell.
RX is Deltang DSM2 R/C Rx65-2
Having used a rechargeable battery in the transmitter, there is a small chance this has damaged it.

Either battery pack is fine.

IF the receiver is a Rx65-2, it is not designed for Selecta. - It should (I believe) not make a difference, but try binding with the Selecta at position 6.
I believe you probably have a Rx65-22, which is designed to work with Selecta.

NOTE:
Selecta tells the receiver to bind to the GUID of the transmitter plus the value (Selecta position) of Channel 2.
A Rx65-2 may not recognise this as a valid combination.

I will check the documentation, to see if it is possible to enable Selecta on a Rx65-2.

<Edit>
This is possible (according to the Deltang website) and can be done with a 'Paperclip' setting.
(search Deltang paperclip settings).

Well you failed to post a picture of the installation, and I don't know what smoke unit and sound card you have?

The loco looks like a Playmobil?

If the others are fine, it points to the receiver..
You can just about get away with 7.2V for the MLS card, but it is a little on the low side.
They can also draw a fair bit of current. That with the smoke unit, might be pulling your battery down?

Are you using the original 7.2V battery these loco's came with?

Can you send me a link to the tank smoke unit, please?

PhilP

The link is to the seller, not the item!
I have had a look, and followed the breadcrumbs..

7.2V units, but I have not been able to find any other specifications.

I think Cooky's other receivers are working with his transmitter?

I still don't know how things are wired up.

I think that the receiver has failed, or is damaged, but to get to this conclusion has taken over 30 posts.

Well if the other engines are working well of the same transmitter, the fault should be in that engine

Ok that is a newquida loco. Are you trying to feed power direct to the motor?

These locomotives have some kind of electrical gizmo across the motor terminals, probably a suppressor. Also if you are powering this via the original boards to say retain the sound (music) and lights it would need the original Radio Control to do anything.

ALL locos are not the same only the Krupp Steam Locomotive have the Deltang DSM2 R/C Rx65-2, all others I running a car TX and RX . but if I can not it to bind I get no power to engine , smoke are any thing ,

I have removed the Rx65-2. from loco and use a old 40a car esc and a rx from one of my models with my PCM9 tx it frn, just have to reware the lights, sound card and smoke unit
