Price tag and delivery lag the factors in a recession? Euros2990 or Euros3490 if pre-ordered after Dec 1st 2011. That's a hefty sum of dosh to shell out for promised delivery in third quarter of 2012, even if Kiss' standards make the likelihood of a quality product very high.

Think I'd go for a Hermann Echtdampf (live steam) Mallet for that money, if only I had it to spend! :crying:
 
As per my early post on this thread, I can't say I'm surprised. Anyone who is seriously interested in RhB locos has almost certainly already got one (or more!) of the LGB crocs, and how many of them would shell out a huge amount for what is just a different model of the same prototype, even if it would be a little more accurate? I'm sure that if KISS has chosen to model something that hadn't already been made in G in a much more affordable form, they'd have had a better response - as a good example, look how much more advance interest there is in the forthcoming Trainline Harz Mallet.....
