please check behind the cleaning wheels after use..
when replacesing the wheels, clean behind the cleanoing wheels ,
the nylon /plastic flanges, delameant with cleaning.
the nylon rapps around the axles, between the wheels, and the motor block..
friction cuases it to melt,.. it seeps into the bearings.. when it cools down after use, it solidifys.. this sesase up the axles.. the motor burns out, drawing exscesive current.. this frys/blows the on bord electronics/mts
this is the 5th cleaner i have rebuilt/repair because off this
and YES , it is the best thing for cleaning track, and YES if mine went this way,
i would buy a nother.. they are THAT GOOD,
like all tools, if you look after them, they last...
abuse a tool, it wont

no, not a fuse, but thermostacik cut out..
most pepole wont think to check, behind the grinding wheels flange..

Good tip Mike. I must say it looks remarkably clean inside - the last time I pulled mine to bits there was so much crud you'd get a rash looking at it.

tiss far nicer to rebuild useing clean stuff:thumbup:

:)the weather play fair./.. so i did a bit, wont bore u with the details, but 2 more bases built, it kinda gets really complicated now..
only a nother 6 and a 1/2 to go..

You're making good progress Mike but you mean to say it wasn't complicated before:confused:

:thumbup:ta keith, its getting complicated, for me:rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf:
my heads hurting ,trying to figure out the frameing ...

It just gets bigger and bigger ...............

bit like my bellly matey...:crying::crying:

that s the complicated bit paul, trying to figure it out..

Looking excellent Mike.

I'm intrigued by all the different levels -
Viaducts?
Rack line?

Spill the beans..

hi john, thought i saw you at stonley..
its going to be on 2 levels, bit like the last one, very senic, in parts it will be 14ft deep senary, by 70ft long.. i see a small village, on the lowe bit, with a country lane running through, above, a busy main line station.. double tracks.. out off the 1st station, the tracks split, gently curving round the bigest senci area, to a second station, a small country halt, onto a sweeping viaduct, over the country lane that weaves its way through it all...
think tichfeild thunderbolt, and your on my wavelenght

What - with Stanley Holloway drinking the buffet car dry?

Sorry if I missed you on Saturday - I must have been miles away; probably trying to work out how to smuggle another "bargain" into the house. :)

Is that the voices in your head talking, Mike.
Sounds really great, but just take it easy.
(Like the peg bag on the washing thingy)
