Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

It's been a week or so. Slow progress is the normal here , its a journey not a race ..for me anyhow slow and steady wins the day..20221008_140333.jpg20221008_140717.jpg20221008_142427.jpg

Progress on the terrace equally...

It's the distractions (like the Tonka-toy Landrover)..
You need Jenny to 'hod-carry' the coffee to you, whilst you lay those bricks and tiles.. :giggle:

Mike if you ever run out of Flashing, have you searched for Dolls house Lead Flashing ? I used some to make my church roof, it is real Lead and self adhesive, there are lots of places online that do it and it comes in plain or pierced edge strips.

Slow , steady and onwards ..progress is on going, trying to think a bout front garden and railings ...20221026_101136.jpg20221026_123131.jpg20221026_123141.jpg

Like it..plodding on..20221028_134740.jpg

I like the variation in the brickwork, Mike. A lot more effort, but we'll worth it to my mind.

A lot more pain to Rik..but thank you..
Today's mistake of the month..
Soon as it happened , filled it with superglue before it started gushing .
Insolation tape rapped around it ..

Hm a bit of blood letting, probably a good idea to let is gush a little to get any nasty on the blade that could have been added before the cut thus giving a clean cut to sanitise before super gluing.

I think I have said this before but a normal ruler is a real danger when modeling long hard cuts in plastic coated foam board or even Plasticard. I use one of these for long cuts and have far less gushers these days. Tis a wallpaper cutter bought at BnQ but I expect available in many othe DIY sheds.

Good advice, I do have one of those, after you mentioned it last time..instinct kicked in..I knew it was deep..it was going to be stitches or superglue...superglue was to hand..need to recognise that I'm over doing it , pushing my self when tired ,hands ect. That's when it's happening..
Printing chimney pots and railings ..got the roof structure on.20221031_135710.jpg20221031_135610.jpg

Ah, Mike is an observer of these things - while it's unusual, there will be a 1:1 example somewhere in Bolton ;);)

So I have started to paint...decided to put the chimney on when I'm tiling the roof as while I'm painting the building get thrown around upside down ect..started at the rear..20221103_142329.jpg20221103_142341.jpg20221104_144831.jpg
