Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

Useful bit of kit, those plug-in monitors - used mine on the old freezer to discover a new one was 7x more efficient, so that had to be replaced :)
I got one many moons ago at a shop in Hemel. Never worked out how to use it, must dig it out and persevere with it.

BTW - I really love the way those terraced houses are working out, Mike.

Thank you Rik..
Tried to do some 3d printing today but apparently the ender has other ideas..
Wify thinks I'm putting heating on for her...
Too cold to print..
Must be above 5 degres ...ie 6 before printer will start warming up bed...

6 degrees is a tad low indoors - 15 degrees to avoid condensation :nerd::nerd:

20 degrees minimum to avoid martial discord :p:p

I pay the bills in our house, so 20 degrees maximum.

The temperature rose enough to defrost the shed, and let the paint dry..so I got the front walls painted..20221219_152001.jpg20221219_153911.jpg20221219_154034.jpg20221219_154011.jpg

Herself is very sensitive to temp: 20C is acceptable at night; 19, where I set the thermostat during the day, is barely tolerable; 18 is absolutely out -- "It's ice cold, stop being so cheap".
In summer, I set the a/c at 22C, day and night, and hear grumbles about the house being too hot. 23 is "It's broiling in here".
Outdoors at 2:30 p.m. it is -4C; there are reports from the Prairies of -50 :mask:

Today I carried on with the front gardens , grass was laid, bushes trimed, and fixed in place , then I added the street lamps..railings are the next job, not sure when I will get a day in the shed before new year 20221222_125758.jpg20221222_125737.jpg20221222_150243.jpg20221222_150142.jpg

Had a jolly down to see Mr P, and call in to see eian of Tony Green Steam, to pick up the late, Neil Robinson loco , which has been on my wanted list for 15 years,?
Bitter sweet in finally getting 1 off 100 made, knowing the fact that
It was Neil's, makes it more special to me.
I think Neil would approve,,

It is truly stunning bit of kit..bolted on to the wooded base, or it was..light rain here so only a few warm up laps ...but it runs like a Swiss watch, and sounds fantastic 20221230_111850.jpg20221230_111743.jpg20221230_111612.jpg20221230_111607.jpg20221230_111425.jpg
