Looks fantastic Mike like the way your railway blends into the real houses in the back ground

cheers guys, been makeing a smaller set, for asignal.. had the signal on the very 1st lazy, but it only had green..so, ive taken it to bits, made a new front, fitted a green/yellow.and a red,its now wired into a lgb suplementry switch unit, pluged into the point/ so now, when u look from the shed entransces, you will see a red signal, and the point set against you.. change point, you get a green /yellow ..

.. after fitting sound to the red koff, i started on the goods yard platform, its a bit of a experiment, to see how it gose, so i can learn, for the station platforms.. nexts doors builders left me a scrap peaces off soffit bord, its about the right sizes, cutting with a metal blade in a jigf saw is a dream,,after getting it to a suitable sizes, the scrap off cuts, wereused to reinforces the edges.. thefoam bord was scribed with brick lines ,and superglued in places.. the edge stones were cut into the bord useing a razor saw, and then the flags were again scribed into the surfaces.. a quickrub down with the edge off the razor saw, to kill the shiny surfacesa, and to give it some texture, also helps the gray prima stick..not bad for a afternon, pondering the yard crain, and the building to go onthe platform..

Very nice mike I find your idea very Aesthetically pleasing with its smooth lines and post Franco modernistic undertones, the way the corbel supports are slightly angled are a very nice touch,, But the buttress?s don?t look as if they would take much of a load and I would personally prefer something more substantial... especially around the docking area......Talking of which I would check the size of the entrance portals. Many years ago I spent ages working on such a project only to be disappointed at the lack of space.....I know its only a goods shed but you never know when someone may want to bring a big boy to one of your open days and that could wreck everything
BTW Did you forget "purple shoes are a be kept for best" not swaning around looking at dirty buildings.....and put your coat on man youll catch you death

shes got shoes on?

:bigsmile:well the painting went well. im happy with the out come, so now i know i can do the station platfroms ..made a start on the goods yard crain, 3/4s there, and then the painting..
