Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

Looking Fantastic Mike:thumbup:

Really ooks the biz and the ballast as well....excellent work.

I dunno - I don't look on the forum for a few weeks and Mike has achieved more then I've done in the last few years.
Seriously good work Mike, especially the subway. Something that was so common, but rarely modelled. To complete the atmosphere, though (apart from the smell mentioned above) you really need a sound tape of a busker singing "The Streets of London", slightly out of tune.....

catching up
amazing !!
love the retaining walls - I need some on my shed connection
ballast guard? - maybe something I need for doing my points

cheers guys.. its -nice to see it all comming together, not much to show, just more subwaystuff... the balast gaurd seems to work well, its 2 bits off plastic(or 1 cut/folded) and a small screw holds it in place..like a L with the screw going through the bottom bit

I have been out of circulation for a few weeks camping on the Rhine, Railways to the right, railways to the left, barges to the fore, onward onward rolled the freight.
At night the trains could ran at 5 min intervals. So catching up with this site was not just mind blowing due to the work you have done, but the night shots had an uncanny resonance. I love the idea of the subways diving down into the platforms & possibly emerging out of the retaining wall at street level, possibly to the side of the Bus Stop.

The idea of the subway lighting reflecting off the white tiling walls into the street or forming a rectangular patch in the centre of the platforms also takes me back to "last train home" nights out in London.
