Hmm interesting to see the 64 next to the TL Mallett, good to see that the rubber ruler is alive and well with Piko. I have to say that the 64 does a very good impression of a NG Loco with the Centre Buffer in place. Some weathering (as done to your Harz 2-10-2t) and perhaps a subtle renumbering and the illusion would be complete. 99 6401 might be a good choice of replacement number.
And those plated wheels mmmmm! Have they managed to keep clean like LGB ones do?

yes and no jon.. the piko is a star performer, its in more or less contiuned use.. there is a build up of muck on the wheels, but to be fair.. its run faultlessly.. id recomend this piko to anyone..
this last month, i have built a new station ,

That's the business end of a track cleaning loco..
You get 'strings' of plastics round the drive, and then when it cools down it sticks, and causes problems next time out.
I have to say they are 'orrible to work on, and you get filthy!!
