Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

Mike,
Hmm interesting to see the 64 next to the TL Mallett, good to see that the rubber ruler is alive and well with Piko. I have to say that the 64 does a very good impression of a NG Loco with the Centre Buffer in place. Some weathering (as done to your Harz 2-10-2t) and perhaps a subtle renumbering and the illusion would be complete. 99 6401 might be a good choice of replacement number.

And those plated wheels mmmmm! Have they managed to keep clean like LGB ones do?
JonD

yes and no jon.. the piko is a star performer, its in more or less contiuned use.. there is a build up of muck on the wheels, but to be fair.. its run faultlessly.. id recomend this piko to anyone..
this last month, i have built a new station ,

Hi Mike,

VERY nice work, it is looking good, that will have taken some time, but with good effect - Congratulations.

Yours Peter.

Good idea. I was impressed by that : on amazing spaces I think.
The detail on the Lazy GB is well in keeping with this.

That's the business end of a track cleaning loco..
You get 'strings' of plastics round the drive, and then when it cools down it sticks, and causes problems next time out.

I have to say they are 'orrible to work on, and you get filthy!!
:( :o ;) :D ;D ;D

Which reminds me....I must give mine a clean and check for said strings

ta john ,phil;ip, and mark, as siad, its the gubbing from the trackcleaner..

That looks familiar. Where´s the RAC sign? :D ;D ;)
