tramcar trev
all manner of mechanical apparatus...
?Let there be light? said the CEO and there is!!!
I have been busy underneath the tramway running cables for the lighting circuit. Its actually the Auxiliary Power circuit as not only the lights run off it but the sound effects; brass bands playing in the rotunda, snippets of soundtrack escaping from the cinema, Mr. Menzies ( It is my melancholy duty to inform you??..) speaking at the town hall, ahhh maybe I?ll skip Menzies and go with Nellie Melba et al. I?m pleased this tramway is elevated; running cables etc would be so much more difficult if I had to bury them with water tight joints etc?. I also learned a good lesson today; when I?m making lights ensure there is enough wire on them to make the connection to the power cable. It bought back memories, soldering fine wires upside down in a cramped space in a backyard?.. At least I wasn?t doing it with a torch held in my mouth?..
I felt I had to show some ?real? or perhaps ?tangible? progress this Xmas. Last year there were sneers of derision when I had trouble demonstrating the tramway?.
This year there are some LIGHTS at Hard Place!!!!
What could be better than lights at Xmas?? I?ve not been encouraged to climb ladders and hang them around the house as in previous years?.

Unfortunately my photography lets me down, I could tender the excuse that my camera has no night setting, even if I turn the flash off it still fires if there is not enough light.... The lights look so much better in real life.
