Lgb 10560 Uncoupler Track

It may well have been "new old stock", Dave, but that's definitely a 1970s wagon..... both the coupling and the four-digit item number bear that out.... not that it matters, the old stuff is just as good as the modern, possibly better!

Grootspoor list loads of secondhand stock along with their new stock - a job to tell whats what sometimes.

Rounding off would be the best solution, making it as close to the New Style as possible. On my Older Wagons I make up a second Coupling using Plasticard, some Lead Strip as a Weight with a small piece of Brass Rod to mount in the Coupling Housing. Having said that the older ones are a bit of a problem to uncouple by the "Hand of God" method due to the Stronger Metal Springs. So they (both Vans) are permanantly put into my Passenger Trains as a Centre Guards Riding Van as was often seen on the Selktalbahn in DR Days.

Maye you could replace it with a modified Playmobil coupling hook. (The raised piece you press down to uncouple the truck will foul the centre bumper on LGB and so will need trimming.)
