If they are genuine LGB the yellow screw-in type are 18V.

Good thinking I will try that and at the same time find a home for those 4 'extra' screws.:bigsmile:
 
Rewired in series, the filaments barely glow! I think I will leave it as it is.
When I reassembled it after the soldering it felt strangely light.....dissasembled it and put the weights in!!!!!!!!!!! It helps!
At least I only have one spare screw now.
