LGB 23196 Mogul - sourcing parts..

Have a sad 23196 Mogul to sort out, and am trying to source parts (would be nice if there were some in the UK)..
So far, Champex-Linden seems to be the best source, but there are some parts which do not seem to be available..

First off, I am using the 23194-1 service sheets, as I have not been able to find a specific set of drawings for the 23196.
Parts (numbers from 23194-1 drawing) that do not seem to be available are:
161 the front `handrail-type` brackets for the long, square `U`-shaped handrail (part 52).
134 tender vertical handrails. - wondering if a different numbered model may have these listed, will have to check.
154 the 6-way connector and lead which plugs into the tender. The loco I have here had had an XLS mounted on the opposite side of the aluminium plate to the factory electronics.. All wiring was crammed in, and at some point both sets of electronics had shorted to the metal plate. Both boards burnt-out, and the above connector (amongst others) melted. When the loco fell off the shelf (presumably it became a `shelf queen`) it turned into a kit of parts, and many wires were ripped from their connectors.
53 the `mesh` part of the `beartrap` spark arrestor. - Though I am tempted to leave this off, as it looks like obstructs access for adding smoke-fluid??

Now a few questions:
Does the LGB version not normally have the knuckle `uncoupling chains` fitted to the uncoupling levers?
Does anyone have a picture of the correct `plow` for the front of this loco (number 9 on cab-side). - The one I have is a plough (solid), rather than a cow-catcher (open grill).
This front section looks like I may need to source a fair-few other bits as well.. The lifting bar, et al, for the knuckle coupler is missing.

I seem to have most of the rest, and it appears to be (more or less) intact.. the odd bit of pipework will need an end sticking, but that appears all.
Oh, and the brief is to not try to replace the LGB electronics, but fit a new XLS to do the lot.

Burnt out electronics:

That is a lot of questions but all of the parts other than the Beartrap spark arrestor are usually available try Modell Land as they are the main parts dealer in Germany.

You have to use old service diagrams as other than coloured body parts most versions use the same parts. On the Mogul there have been a few design changes over the years but these are mostly with the electrics, I don't think they have altered the body other than early on they changed the handrails to brass to plastic brackets. There are three styles of pilot, 2 types of domes, 2 types of smoke stack plus the Beartrap than is a push fit over the straight type, 2 types of cab, 2 types of smoke box and and few other detail parts which all can be swapped about, which LGB have used to make various variations out of two original styles.
