nice reviwe paul, thanks :o

They both look good - just different. ;)

Note, the number should read 27520

I received mine today. Finish is first class well up to LGB that we expect.
Initial inspection shows excellent detail, and a short running session in the garden this afternoon was smoothe and responsive running solo, and using my Aristocraft radio control, now more than ten years old.
The only practical problem I found was trying to fit the lens suround supplied seperately, as they are very close to the hoses, so I have left them off for the time being. Has anyone else had this trouble, and is there an easy way to fit them without disturbing the actual lens cover, as these seemed too loose, so was afraid of them coming off ?

I don't have a big stable of locos, just five, but my 22522 is the King of the line, no question. It handles every load I have attached with contemptuous ease and is the only one that can really deliver a realistically smooth slow stop and start. I got it at the Nuremberg auction in 2009. An absolute beast!

how easy was the install paul..

I have just acquired one of this range (not sure of exact model at this time of night!)..
Original MTS and sound, and I know the 'engineer' who has just sorted the slightly sticky motor out VERY well.
Made the mistake of saying it was a good job it did not have a box, else I would have bought it! - And lo! A box did appear.

Now, it has a VERY dodgy paint-job stripe, which I need to remove, and get a 'proper' white stripe with whiskers done. - Any suggestions as to whose palm to cross with silver for this??
