Many thanks for your interest, I probably have not made this too clear. What I am trying to create is a Kamel Look Alike, or what might have happened if they (East German Railways DR) got a V100 in Pprior to the Wall comming down and tried to convert it to Metre Gauge. Thus White Line at the Front and by the Cab is what I am trying to achieve. Tricky but probably achievabke.

I have pretty well finished this up now so a few more piceps seamed appropraite. First up my Crude Drawing of the Front Piece Construction showing Size of 30tho Plasticard Parts.

Next up two pics of the Construction as Sprayed Matt Black. I wanted to have Nut Headed Bolts visible at the Front. But as the 10BA ones I had in stock were too short I lengthend them by joining them up with some 10ba spare rod using some aporopriate tight fitting Tube. A bit of Solder between the Two made the join good. Plus Blackend the Steel Heads whilst cooking with the Blow Torch.

Finally some pics of it and my other 2 Kamels. Daddy (Piko) , Mummy (LGB V100) and Baby (Playmobile). Bit like the three Bears really.

I am quite happy with the Family resemblance. If only I could get the Piko one to be a satusfactory runner.

Give the wheels on the Piko a damn-good clean..
We have one on the Harz, and it really made a difference.

and add a 'power buffer' - solved my poor running completely.
