Looks good. If you use brass, a thin strip of insulation tape across the bottom may be a good idea. Although G Scale locos on beige carpet isn't!

Thank you. The part is metal(off of an Aster loco), so I might do that. Never thought about the carpet, but fortunately that track was set up specifically for the picture, nothing ever ran on it(it’s only a few inches longer than the train). TLDR, no beige carpets were harmed in the making of this photograph.
