LGB Queen Mary Caboose

Terry;
You brought to mind an arrangement I made with Jon Radder, over at LSC, a few (Probably now, MANY) years ago.
He was escavating, then building an underground area to extend some trackage, at the end of a siding. There ended up being a fairly large, surplus area that gave me an idea.
After back and forth chatting, he agreed to reserve a part of the excess area, and equip it with a length of track long enough to accommodate an LGB Gramps tank car. That car has a removable dome on top.
My plan is to have my ashes funneled into the tank car, then the car will be delivered by rail to the "Underground Mausoleum", where it will be placed...my final resting place.
The "Irish Style" wake is already planned, and any thoughts of a funeral have been dismissed.
As of yet, my final date of passing is not being forecast...

Nice idea. Just a thought, before the car does that Final Journey you could have it emulate the Box Car that did a lot of travelling on other lines. G Mad days? Not suggesting a Round the World one, but perhaps on a few of your friends lines?
