Loads for wagons

Searching in the attic I came across a Geest banana box
so while publisher was fresh in my mind made up a copy of their artwork, even got a very close match to their type face

I even found some thick brown kraft? or maybe wrapping paper, so was even able to do the base tray in correct colour, tops were in white

Another great one! You could have a whole greengrocery market at this rate. Bought some BB's yesterday (as per Korm's idea) - no blue one though - can't wait to start copying these ideas!
Will have to though - too much to do around the house and garden.

I was going to suggest modeling clay (but forgot).

Wont actually see any bananas
scenario
Devon packing house packing local grown produce , but buying in wholesale other produce to be able to have large range to offer customers.

Bit like Stokes farms, but they of course have their own shops

Now of course they have taken delivery of the correct ventilated top & bottom sheets, you cant see much of the contents anyway

1:29 --- 1:22.5 not much difference for a banana - we are not talking Euro standards here:laugh:

Hey lads these are looking tremendous....how are you weatherproofing them. In the past I have done some USA based ones out of card, paper and wood but they do succumb to the elements no matter how much weather proofing I put onto them.

very true but the Geest boxes are 1/12th scale so the bananas would be just over 12mm long, 1 guess 1/29-22.5 would be about 6mm long?

depends what would look right to the eye

I was always told size doesn't matter................that is obviously in the banana world

All good sugestions
however these are not intended to be left outside ( faulty memory allowing)
but the thought did cross my mind as to what wagons would be appropriate for carriage of same

might have to design up some NG curtain siders

had thought of some gull wing type side opening upward, but for NG might be unstable in a wind when open for loading

been juggling with a new floor insert for the workshop/engine shed, to turn it into a packing shed for photo shoots,
afterall loads for wagons have to be stored somewhere, before transport to their markets
