Hi,

As part of the gauge 3 layout im thinking of signals. Now ive got some of the LGB coulor lights and the US Semaphore signals. Both are nice but expensive.

I also like the look of the Roundhouse signal kit, but again by the time I fitted a motor to work it will be quite a lot of money.

As you gues I want my signals to work. I see martins models make ' Auto signals' has anyone got these, are they good?

I could make my own, but want them quite to scale and realastic so not sure I have the skills, so any other ideas would be good too.

cheers, Si

Have some on my garden layout have been out in the garden for 10 years now with out any problems they just wire to the track and change colour on direction of traval . I brought the basic model's without the ladders the ones with the ladders also look good for the money .

I use the ones from TM models and these have really bright LEDS so can be seen even in bright sunshine. I don't use digital so Mike Cullen built me a control circuit linked to my LGB track reed switches and point control. Basically when a train has passed the signal it changes colour and then changes back when the train changes direction on the return loops. When I was looking, Martin's Models had sold out and I therefore sourced mine elsewhere.

Anyone got linkys for these signals please....

I'm currently installing these from Shiloh Signals. They sell on Ebay or you can buy direct.

Wow!! That's a great photo. Takes a while to realise that it's not 1/1th scale!! The buildings in the background seem to be in scale.:thumbup:

Like those very much. Is that a working "dwarf" signal on the left?

Here you go Giz. TM Models signals page not up and running yet though but you can always drop him an email. I think he does a catalogue/brochure too.

Martins Models, looks like a holding page so not bery helpful. Pity cos his old site used to have some great info including a page dedicated to his autosignals

Yes. I will post other pictures in the controls, signals etc in a week or so, maybe sooner.
