Cheeky monkey you really are not helping!! I'm trying to resist a kof and it's getting harder and harder. If I was getting one it would have to go through a re paint and would not look out of place as many narrow gauge lines buy ex industrial stock. Wonder if it could be converted to battery?

You could convert the new KoF to battery power quite easily as long as you're OK with having the batteries in a separate wagon - there is little space in either cab or hood for them. Being DCC chipped, it's already got a 4-pin gearbox with both motor terminal separate from the track feeds, so power wiring wouldn't be any problem. The only thing you'd have to watch is that the lights are all LEDs, not bulbs, so they'd be a little more complicated to wire in to an alternate power source if you took the DCC decoder out.

I don't think the Kof will interest most of the people who would be in the market for the Baguley, as it is German standard guage & so would look out of place in a British narrow guage setting. The opposite is also true.
If you run to Rule 8 then the decision will probably be down to what looks best with your stock. Well done Accucraft for sorting out what was wrong with the original though.

Its actually modeled on the harz kof which is 1000mm

Hmmm Harz:love::love::love::love:
Its not this one then?

A small digression - Baguley is a district of Manchester and a couple of years ago I wanted the phone number of a DIY store there.
I rang 118 888 to get the number and got a "goodness, gracious" gentleman (by the name of Nigel!:laugh: ) I wasn't sure which area it was in but "Nigel" asked if it could be "the one in Bagooly?"! :rolf::rolf::rolf:
